Founded in 1997 in Taviano (LE) by Carluccio family, the Airgama firm started walking slowly along a very difficult but charming way that afforded it to be near the top in the field of production of connectors and fittings for building industry.

At the head of this firm there are Gino, with his thirty-year experience in plastic industry, and his children, Gaetano as sales manager, Marco in charge of design and manufacture of the moulds and Barbara who keep the accounts.

Under the direction of Carluccio family, the firm was able to follow all the evolutions and changes of the World Market still preserving the feature of a family firm.

The firs line of production, in 1999 after two years of design and manufacture, was the of PP ventilation grilles with a broad range of models for the regularization of air flow.

In 2001 started the production of a line of fittings made up of drain wells, frames, caps, pipe unions and leaves fender that can be used as flow, to impermeabilize and protect the drainpipes.

In 2002, the most important event for the firm took place; infact Airgama bought out the share of Carluccio Gino, former member of GTF, manufacturing industry of PVC junctions from 1982. It took over one thirds of fittings and fixtures and began its own PVC junctions production, completing and increasing the range of the products.

In 2003 foreign market constitute a new and interesting way for the young firm, ready to satisfay any request with its self-sufficient and efficient structure.

In March 2004 the firm took part in the 34° MCE in Milan, put some ads in the most important magazines of this field such as Plastic Pipes Fittings and Commercio Edile and brought out the new web site: www.airgama.it.
